CISSP exam day: what to expect and how to perform
Three hours of adaptive questions is an endurance event. Small logistical and mental preparations measurably improve exam day performance.
Logistics
Arrive 30 minutes early with two forms of identification matching the name on your registration. You will be photographed and your pockets and sleeves will be checked.
Pacing and mindset
Trust your preparation. If a question feels impossibly hard, that often means the engine estimates you are doing well: hard questions are a good sign under CAT.
Take a 30-second reset if you feel panicking: breathe, stretch your hands, and read the next question from scratch.
