CISSP retake policy and how to bounce back
Failing the CISSP is common and recoverable. The retake policy is defined by ISC2 and your second attempt should be planned as a targeted campaign, not a full re-read.
The waiting periods
After a first unsuccessful attempt you must wait 30 days before retesting. After a second attempt the wait is 60 days, and after a third it is 90 days. A maximum of four attempts is allowed within a 12-month period.
Rebuilding the plan
Use your weak-area data: re-drill the domains where your accuracy was lowest, and switch from reading to question-first study for those domains.
PassYour is an independent study aid. CISSP is a certification mark of ISC2.
